1. Article of the month – April 2015

This month we are covering the article titled ‘The Impact of Hyperglycemia on Non- Diabetic patients with Traumatic Brain Injury’. This abstract won the second prize during the AICNU 2014 in Bangalore. The premise of the abstract is that early hyperglycemia is associated with poor outcomes for non-diabetic patients with severe traumatic brain injury. This study aimed to analyze the relation of hyperglycemia in non-diabetic subjects with severe traumatic brain injury. 2. AICNU 2015 – Details about the conference in Aug 2015 at Ahmedabad, India

The Seventh Apollo International Clinical Nutrition Update is going to be held on 8th and 9th of August at Ahmedabad, India. The annual Apollo International Clinical Nutrition Update (AICNU) is designed to provide Clinical Dietitians and Nutrition practitioners with an understanding of the central role of nutrition in health care setting. This Clinical Nutrition update is aimed to provide a distinguished opportunity to the nutrition professionals to discuss latest advancements and challenges in the field. 3. Abstract Submissions are accepted from 1st Feb 2015

We are now accepting abstracts from delegates who would like to present their work at the AICNU this year. Delegates, who would like to present their work at the AICNU, either orally or as a poster, are invited to submit an abstract for consideration by the Scientific Committee.
